About Journées du Patrimoine Culinaire

The Culinary Heritage Days are events bringing together Producers, Chefs and the Public. The health crisis and the growing interest of the French in the ecological issue have undoubtedly brought professionals and consumers closer to producers.

We therefore invite you to come and discover during the first edition of the Culinary Heritage Days:

This 6,000 km² department of Gascony is rich in hundreds of local products that deserve to be discovered or remembered.

From duck to Armagnac, black pork with trout, saffron to Floc de Gascogne, this is one of the most complete French terroirs in terms of local products.

It is therefore natural that the first edition of the Culinary Heritage Days will take place in the Gers, more precisely in Barbotan-les-Thermes.

The Barbotan thermal site deserves to be discovered just as much. First in Midi-Pyrénées, it ranks 6th nationally.

Montaigne, Richelieu, Empress Eugenie and Napoleon III came here to treat their pain both for the virtues of the mud and for those of the Bains Clairs.

Admission will be free to access all the activities in the village.

During the three days of the event, our chefs will offer you their "street food" menus, consisting of 4 bites, for a single price of € 8. So you can all discover their respective worlds.

Come and live to the rhythm of our tastings, in Barbotan-les-Thermes, from September 24 to 26, 2021.
